Presentation of the breeding of Mystère des Bastides
We are a family breeding of entlebuch cattle.
We got to know the Swiss mountain dogs in 2001 with Sylvestre, a formidable Bernese mountain dog. Subsequently, we naturally turned to the entlebuch mountain dog, his lively and happy side fully corresponding to our temperament.
Hamilton from the Joyeuses Gambades then arrived in March 2012. His health results were not good, we never reproduced with him and sterilized him.
Tayna [taina] then traveled from Moscow to join us in the Lot Et Garonne in March 2014.
We started breeding with this magnificent pépette which became champion of France in 2016. Tayna has been enjoying a happy retirement with us since June 2020.
I left my job as a works supervisor in public works in 2016 to be able to devote myself fully to my dogs. I converted to a farmer in 2017 and now owns an organic poultry farm.
We are signatories of the quality charter of the French association of Swiss herdsmen since 2016.
We regularly present our dogs on show. ( Exhibition results )
Tayna obtained her title of champion of France in 2016, Mackintosch and Miss Marple obtained their title of champion of France young in 2017 and their title of champion of France adult in 2019!
Mackintosch was voted the most beautiful Swiss mountain dog of the year 2020!
Our dogs are tested for the various health tests requested by the breed club (Association Française des Bouviers Suisses).
Our selection is based on health outcomes, genetic diversity, morphological appearance and character.
